Educators on Call Inc. is a staffing agency specifically servicing Early Learning Centers. We were founded in 2016, born out of a need to find suitable, qualified yet temporary staff members. With 15 years of Child Care experience, operating childcare facilities and managing staffing teams of all sizes, we understand the need for a niche staffing agency for our industry. EOC is owned and operated by Melissa Baxandall.
As an ECE Educator, Melissa has extensive knowledge and insight on how to maintain a consistent staffing team. Educators on call is committed to providing an inclusive and flexible working environment.

Our Mandate
Our mandate is to provide pre-screened qualified substitute teachers to Early Learning Facilities in B.C. We strive to be a platform for convenience and connection. We build bridges through developing relationships, dynamic experiences, and encouraging positive attitudes. We are a proponent for respect, positive mindsets, professionalism, and accountability.
What We Do
When childcare organizations are looking to fill vacancies, cover vacation requests and/or staff shortages they contact us and allow us the opportunity to provide them reliable and qualified temporary team members. We provide our clientele with on-call, pre-screened educators, qualified and available to support organizations to operate in compliance.

Educators on Call employs staff that are fully certified and will arrive with a complete employee file. Our staff will be ready to resume any role in your facility. Educators On Call staff will arrive on time and ready to take on the day.
Staff have been hand picked, screened and trained. Staff are flexible and will adhere to the policies and procedures at your facility. Staff will ask questions and introduce themselves to all children and parents. Educators on Call Staff have signed and will adhere to their confidential agreements and employee contracts.
Before an Educator is approved for work with EOC, an interview is conducted, personal & professional references are checked and a full employee file is collected, including criminal record checks that will be shared to your organization.
